Can anyone please help me with the value of this coin?
Mention: on the coin there is engraved "Carol I Rege al Romaniei" b(Carol I King of Romania, instead of "Carol I Domn al Romaniei"
It has a bit of a suspect look to it, whats the exact weight?

I understand the question. Krause World Coins 19th century lists KM#12 with "Domnul" as made as 1880B, but KM#16 with "Rege" only made as 1881B (and worth about twice as much). So this coin with "Rege" from 1880 would be a rarity, if genuine.
I agree it would be a good idea to first check the weight and diameter, and if possible run some silver tests to see if it is indeed 0.900 silver as the authentic coins are. For example some tests are listed at
This coin is definitely a fake. Look for the beaded border on obverse and reverse: On both sides many beads are missing. And they are not worn, they had never been "struck" (by the counterfeiter).
And (according to Kahnt-catalogue, too) there is no 1880-version with "REGE"...
It's 100% silver. All I am trying to establish authenticity, I saw another coin identical on this forum. As I didn't find any information about my coin on Internet, my question is : could be from a “test edition ”? My conclusion: it's not just my coin, from what I could see are 2 , and I have this coin in my family for more then 40 years…silver 0.900
