George 1v 1825 fake gold farthing

Found today what would seem to be a 1825 Farthing, with remains of guiding to make out it’s a gold proof of the same year

what do people think

More likely it's gold plating that's come mostly off, probably to use it as jewellery or pass it off as a gold coin.

There was a gold proof that year of this coin, so probably a fake
