Try checking its size and weight and maybe even test it for gold to make sure it's real.

I don't know enough about Venetian gold coins to answer that but checking to make sure it's real is in my opinion always a good idea for valuable coins.

Yes it is sold by a reputable dealer in my country, but of course it can still be a fake. Also, I am curious to what the condition of it is... VF+?

If it comes from a reputable dealer then I guess it's ok. Still, won't hurt to check.

Grading hammered coins is tricky and in my opinion the standard Sheldon coin grading scale can't be used. All I can say is if it's real it's a very nice coin.
