Spain Amadeo 5 Pesetas 1871 (1873) GP counter stamp ID

Hi,

same friend is looking for ID on this coin I vaguely remember the counter mark being for Portuguese Guatemala. I really have little knowledge in this field though I don’t seem to be able to find the same host coin so I’m wondering if it is actually genuine ?

PG stands for the Portuguese Government, which applied them for use on coins intended for use in the Azores. Sadly, most of them are fake. Here's a good reference:
