Sestertius - Hadrianus FELICITATI AVG with bust of As - Hadrianus COS III; Galley?

1 post
Hey everyone!

I'm really excited this forum exists because I'm curious about my new coin. Labeled as:

Hadrian AE sestertius AD 117-38
"AI c 703 (Var.)"

*Pics Below*

I think the answer may lie in the second line there... It's a variant of some type? I don't understand what that might mean though. Would someone please translate for me? I think it must be a variant because here on Numista it looks like a combination of both of these coins:

The Galley of:
Sestertius - Hadrianus FELICITATI AVG
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces66532.html

The Bust of:
As - Hadrianus COS III; Galley
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces61262.html

First, these seem to be the two closest coins on Numista that also have the bust looking right and the galley moving left. I can definitely see the very worn "AVG" above the galley, something that none of the other galley coins of the same era seem to have. I am curious about the meaning of "Felicitati AVG" as well, if anyone knows.

The bust on the other side has with the distinct wreath pointing forward and up, tied behind the head and a visible groove for the extra length.

The pictures are below. I hope they are good enough. Thank you!

P.S. Does the color of my coin lend a clue to what color it may have been? And more importantly what kind of Bronze / Brass it is?
