The CR makes me think of the Latin of Carolus Rex so is King Charles.
As always (to anyone) we need diameter for identification, as sometimes
coins were similar but with different sizes. Also need picture of the other side.
But looks like it, and lettering
CAR D G SCOT ANG FRA E HIB R
does start in same place with CAR on top left. :)
