I think I (or someone else) have suggested this before, but as a referee and frequent contributor, I would like to see a button that would be a fast way to swap all the data in these two fields between each other:
Currently such a swap exists for the photos, but as someone else has recently noted, the other fields have to be copy/pasted and switched manually.
The "only photos" swap option we have now should be also preserved, so that when it is only a photo mix-up, there is no need to swap everything.
Hello,
A new link "Switch obverse and reverse" was added on coin modification pages, in order to switch all the data (in both languages, including pictures) of the obverse and the reverse.
On coin pages, click on the usual link to modify the coin. The link to switch obverse and reverse is just below the big yellow block at the top about the guidelines.
Can you please try again?
The "page not found" redirection should be fixed.
If you still have the texts not being changed, please send me the link to the coin so I can check what happened.
Hello Cyrillius,
If a user has referee right for that coin, the change will be done without any review. It will be visible only in the history of the coin page.
If the user doesn't have referee right for that coin, they will be asked to provide a source or explanation, and a modification request will be created, so that the referee can approve or reject.
You can test with the user "demo" and pass word "demo" if you want to check how it looks like.

Xavier,
Before changes are made or corrections submitted, shouldn't the ground rules be mentioned as to what constitutes the obverse or reverse of a coin.
Is this an official Numista rule that would overwrite i.e. what the mint says? Because there are countless coins that would not follow this one.
In general there is no rule for what is ob or reverse (at least in the last few decades in quite a few countries).
Yes, this is official Numista rule, and contrary to whichever mint says, it is a worldwide rule of coin making... For population of given country, usually the denomination side is obverse, but technically, country comes first.
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2150.html This is nice example actually, for me, side with 1 will always be obverse since my childhood (I am actually as old as this coin) but side which says Česká republika is technically obverse.
had to come here to find where the button was (yes I've just used it for the 1st time)
I think its current location is rather weird
and do we need the confiration page?
couldn't do the same effect as the switch obverse/reverse images where it's a clickable field and gets confirmed with the modification submission?
