I've just come across this 1922 GV sixpence with a strange fault, all looks fine on the obverse but the reverse has what looks like a triangular layer missing but the lettering is still very visible. If anyone can help with more information please.

I think it's a cracked die error.
I also noticed it on the obverse on the face and below the chin.
