One reason: pure provocation following the Côte d'Ivoire/Ivory Coast thread. You just pick sentences written by other members and use them to provoke a wrong/bad (call it the way you want) debate.

Just let the CVI debate silently fade away. No need to point out the silliness in it. It is how it always will be: Someone asks "what about this?", and after a few replies things got heated, more people gets involved, and BOOM! We have somehow created an infected argument where no one will stop.
What's the point in reviving it? What would you achieve with that? It will all just start over and go on forever. People are ready to leave the site because of that debate, so, just leave it. Please.
