I now have a review in my swaps and trades witch is rated 0 stars. This is the guy from India as discussed in the forum black list swindlers. Can this review be removed from my overview? Because now I am rated a 8 in stead of a 10

He has cut and pasted the same stuff into the ratings of everyone who gave him bad feedback. Talk about adding insult to injury!

I'm sorry that you have had such a bad experience with this low-life nobody. From the swaps I have made here and the forum posts that I have read this thief is one of a very small minority on Numista and the vast majority are serious like-minded collectors. You might want to send a message to the site administrator, Xavier, and explain the situation to him since he is the only person that can remove feedback, no matter how false.

I am seriously thinking about leaving. I believe I may have been cheated out of some coins by 2 members that I was convinced were honest members. After 3 weeks, one guy finally admitted that he has not shipped my coins yet because he has been busy. The other guy claims that he mailed the coins. What worries me is that if I do not get the coins and if I leave negative feedback, they will probably claim that they did not get the coins that I sent and leave negative feedback for me. That will scare others and I will not be able to swap.

The joker referenced above tried to do this kind of retaliatory feedback game but his "contributions" have been removed, presumably by Xavier. I wouldn't worry too much about it, most people have enough savvy to look at the source of bad feedback. I would have no hesitation in trading with you at all.

I hope you will not leave, I've found our various discussions on the PM market both interesting and informative.  I'm a member of several sites similar to Numista and scammers are everywhere. I do believe that because of a strong community of collectors who have become familiar with each other and a simple feedback system Numista has less of this type of thing than it's competitors.

Of course none of this helps you with the current problems. I would appreciate it if you would share the names of the 2 people concerened by PM. I would of course treat the information as confidential.

There are a couple of websites which maintain a list of known crooks, I would be happy to point you in that direction if you feel it would help with future trades. Alternatively I have a long and growing list of collectors who I am 100% confident about which I would be very happy to share with you.

I'm really sorry your experience here has been so negative, you deserve better.
