Dutch Republic city's Huissen and Batenburg and others [solved]

Hello,

In my opinion there are some city's currently added to the Dutch Republic who never minted as a part of the Dutch Republic.

Huissen: a city in Gelre, but was officially not a part of the Republic. The city belonged to the Duchy Kleve, then Brandenburg and later from 1701 Prussia. So German states - Jülich-Kleve-Berg - Thaler. Huissen became Dutch in 1816 as a part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Batenburg, Ghent, Gronsveld: Also never minted as a city in the Dutch Republic if i'm correct.

Who knows why these city's are added to the Republic? Maybe i'm wrong about it, but i havent found information about these city's minting as a part of the Republic.

There were zeven gewesten that minted in this Period. Holland, Zeeland, Gelderland, Utrecht, Friesland, Overijssel, Groningen en Ommelanden (Stad en Lande).

There were also city's/area's that have minted next to the provincial minting. Some of them have not been added yet. Deventer, Kampen, Zwolle, Nijmegen, West Frisia, Zutphen, Arnhem and Stevensweert are correct. Some missing city's are Hasselt, three city (Deventer, Zwolle and Kampen combined), Gorinchem, Elburg, Roermond, Zaltbommel and Breda. Also there should be a difference between city Groningen and the gewest Groningen en Ommelanden who have both minted coins.

I like to help to get a complete and correct catalogue for the Dutch Republic. Sorry for the long text.

Gr.

Batenburg was a free city in the Holy Roman Empire. Ít changed owner multiple times during the 80 year war. I'm not sure if the mintagge in Batenburg was in name of the Spanish ruler or the republic. My guess is the Spanish Netherlands.

Gronsveld was a Graafschap within the Holy Roman Empire. It should be a part of the Spanish Netherlands during its mintage.
