My third and final post:) Ik got the below 2 Dutch Republic, City Deventer, silver 2 stuiver coins in my collection.
Both are listed under catalog KM# 77: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces48380.html
In this coin, the mintmark is a sitting dog with the tail to the left. In the 2 stuiver 1707 the mintmark is a sitting dog with the tail to the right. Is it correct to say that both coins belong to the same KM# Catalog number?
Extra info: I read about this Deventer 2 stuiver coins on different Dutch forums and the 1702, 1707, 1708 strikes were minted for payement to the VOC (Dutch East India Company).

According to Krause they have the same KM# number:
First picture is from Krause 1601-1700, second one is from Krause 1701-1800. As you can see, in both cases it's KM# 77
Unfortunately, there are no pictures of these coins in Krause, so we can't check the dog's tail.
I also suggest to use your coins to make pictures for our catalog. Your coins are much better than the pictures on the coin page now. No offensive of coursenumismaticroy, but especially your obverse is in a very very bad condition. If we can improve our catalogue with better pictures we must take that chance.
Oke! Which of the 2 should I use? The oldest or newer one?

For your last question, I'd say use the better condition one. The other one can still go in the comments section as an example of another date. Old picture can also go in comments section if needed.

I would go for the newer one because the mint mark can't be seen on the older one.
But of course, it also depends on the condition of the obverse. There are no pictures of your two obverses.
Both other sides are oke. The older one is cutted.

I've changed the pictures. The change is pending right now.
