Hunt Down Rare Coins
eBay makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for, so you won’t have to check multiple coin shops for those hard-to-get pieces. The rarer the coin, the higher the value. Famous rare coins can sell for millions of dollars. Some of those in top demand include:
The Morgan Silver Dollar, which has a high liquidation rate.
Franklin Half Dollars, which are rare and high quality. Only 445 million Franklins were produced between 1950 and 1963, and they were the only ones ever made.
The $20 Gold Double Eagle, made from 96 percent troy ounce gold. The value of the $20 Gold Double Eagle varies with the price of gold.
Mercury dimes, made between 1936 and 1942, are among the most beautiful U.S. coins. These collectible coins are exceptionally rare and difficult to obtain.
Indian Head Gold Coins MS 62 Condition are popular among coin collectors, particularly the $2.50, $5 and $10 versions.

You've got to wonder who wrote that- since when was a Franklin 1/2 rare? maybe some key dates, sure, but dammit they're usually common as hell. Also, 1948*-1963

Speaking of dates, the Merc was 1916-1945, not 36-42, and is nowhere near 'hard to get'.
Which makes you wonder about Ebay's claims.

Anyone else see something wrong in the above paragraph?
Do you have a link to this? It seems pretty obvious to me whoever produced this is neither familiar with US coins nor English "...made from 96 percent troy ounce gold."

Uh, are there any other versions?

lol.
Exceptionally rare Mercury Dimes.......... I wonder if it's the same guy who keeps adding all the ridiculous "rare / ultra rare" tags to the Numista catalog?

Or maybe "rare" means something completely different in Dickistan.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
Rare, means there are not enough for everyone.
There are more than 7 billion people but not even half a billion Franklins.
Do you need a better proof?

Rare really means hard to find, not enough for everyone would be 'limited'
