New token find?

A while back, I wrote an article about the Truck/Scrip Tokens of Ballyglunin Estate, Co Galway
https://oldcurrencyexchange.com/2016/04/11/obrien-coin-guide-truckscrip-tokens-of-ballyglunin-estate-co-galway/

One reader responded with a new variation, i.e. a Ballyglunin scrip token without a denomination. Has anyone got any thoughts on what this might be? A test piece, pattern, proof?
Perhaps this is just a penny variety perhaps they thought there was no need? The III (3d) and VI (6d) were clearly labelled as such.
The new find was struck in white metal (it might be silver), so it is unlikely to be a penny.
I posted this here in order to see if it really is a new addition to the Ballyglunin exonumic population.
