Queen Elizabeth's Coronation

5 posts
My little girl was watching me go through some coins and started asking who the people were on them. Naturally she likes Kings, Queens, and castles and such. So I had some inspiration and looked up this video. I skipped through it a lot and the actual crowning starts at about minute 38

I don't know why I never thought about Queen Elizabeth's Coronation being on video. Its pretty amazing.

Hey David my friend do you think she would like one of theses

It is Queen Elizabeth II coronation 5 shillings 1953 Km 894. May help to get her in to history and coin collecting.
You know david I did not weed my strawberries this year. God I have them coming out of my ears, yum. Iam getting a big bowl every 2 to 3 days . After the kids and animals.

It is, what it is, or is it.
Really great footage. Sounds like your girl is catching the bug. It's always fascinating to see the real people behind the portraits we see so often. it's easy to forget they're actual humans on there.

ALLRED1950, great coin! That portrait is so dynamic, I've never seen one in real life.
On a side note, I've never been so lucky with strawberries. The kids and rabbits clean me out every year.
MonaSeaclaid That is how it usually is . Last year I got one strawberry, that it. This year there are just going nuts.
edit this year I have done nothing with them. no weeding or watering. they are going nuts.
It is, what it is, or is it.

You know Allred, she probably would. I haven't started getting them coins yet, my oldest is only still four, but I was glad she was asking questions! That's amazing that your getting so many strawberry's, how many plants do you have? Our peaches are just coming in, and I will definitely plant more trees in my future, they are so good, just blend up a ripe peach with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream.
