You are the sweetest person around.
This is a heterosexual statement.
Why would you do that?
People confront, I find it totally normal.
People have bad ideas, ok, let them be...
But, we certainly do not want to lose you for whatever silly reason.
I don't mind a bit of good old fashioned controversy and people disagreeing with passion. I don't even mind if it's ME they are disagreeing with. I'm always up for a bare knuckle fight but I prefer it when there's something to be accomplished.
But just trading insults for the sake of it soon gets boring. Destroying well crafted threads, that I would like to read, by knee jerk Jingoism..... what the hell?
Quit deleting the country topics! I'm a big boy now and more than capable of skipping the sillier parts.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!

I started this journey more than a year ago and no matter how many get deleted I shall finish this voyage.
About the rest of the stuff that's keeping this forum busy, I really couldn't care less. Too busy reading Wikipedia in 8 different languages while preparing for the next WCC.
Just simply do what I do, read only those threads that actually interest you (and aren't full to the rafters of childish inults & playground banter) and mark all the rest as read once done. Don't get involved in any topics where the thread has been lost and don't boost any egos by lowering yourself to their level by engaging them in conversation. Just enjoy those aspects of the forums that you thrive in, it would be an utter shame to this community if you were to leave.
I think the forums are being littered lately with absolute rubbish which is a shame as we all "supposedly" share the same mutual interest - Numismatics.
I can see why a lot of members don't want to post on the forums, probably for fear of it turning into a "who can insult another member the most" competition.
