20 Fillér 1916 - grading advice?

6 posts
Hi,

I got my hands on this:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces4123.html

Any advice on grading and possibly value? (not going to sell anyway, just want to know)

PS: Is that some sort of metal error over KIRÁ (lyi)?

Thanks,

The focus is poor on the reverse, but judging by the crown I think I would grade it XF if I was "accessioning" it for my collection. That dangly bit in the center of the crown fades out fairly quickly on a lot of these coins, so I think with it sharp and the other details on the crown brim it would make XF.
I'd give this a VF...possibly with a -.
There's a long die crack above KIRA, which goes through all the letter tops. It also goes between the R and K.

Moneytrend estimate: SS (VF) 4 Euro, I'd be happy to sell such a coin for 2 Euro, but an interested collector can easily find it in a 50 cent bin at any numismatic convention in Central or Eastern Europe.
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
