Terapeak Information - Ebay

If you'd like information from sales on a specific coin or banknote, let me know.

Below is example data on an 1879 shilling, 90 day of sales, in the UK. Note it's not 100% perfect, but gives a good general idea. If you want to, you can give a search string like "XF 1879 shilling," but I give no guarantees as to accuracy.

Why is the price in $ if it is from uk eBay?

This could be very useful for those who want a rough value to give their coins instead of inflated catalogue values which can sometimes be way off base either direction.
I am actually going through my coins and using the "sold items" option selected and "UK only" to see what coins went for on average, then labelling the reverse of each capsule with the real sale value at that time. The catalogue values I put on the description card that sits under the capsule in the tray for valuation and insurance purposes. This system would be a godsend if all you have to do is input date and coin denomination.

PM sent for an answer to the first question :)

And yep, but I'm generally using it for buying at the moment - establishing a baseline of what they 'usually' sell for so I don't overpay. Then making bids and sniping beneath that value.

Give me a few, I'll give you the answers in gbp!
