I'm looking for any information on this coin/token.  My guess is that it's German from WWII era, but have no idea for what it may have been used or to what the initials  S S-T.V.  K.L.  might refer.

Thanks in advance!
Dave
Well, 'SS T.V.' is SS-Totenkopfverbände I'm afraid. 'Totenkopf' means 'Deaths head'.

Those SS seen to the death camps. KL is maybe the name of one of the camps. Maybe Klooga in Estonia or Koldichevo in Belarus. I can't be sure about that though.
10 PFG (pfennig)
Einsatz also known as Einsatzgruppen.  They were the Mobile Killing units made up of the SS and police personnel.
SS T.V. : SS-Totenkopverbande (Deaths Head Unit)
K.L - Konzentrazionslager" (Concentration Camp),

Here is a bit of information regarding currency used in the concentration camps.

Scotty, thanks...following up on SS-TV, I believe I found KL to be one of two abbreviations for konzentrationslagern (concentration camp), the other being KZ.  Possibly this coin was used by the SS who ran the camps.

I found two pages when "SS TV KL" was entered in a Search. The first included other items with those initials on, including the above beer bottle top image. The other page gives names and details. Not sure if either helps, as I have not read them really ...

Thanks everyone...gives me a good general idea of who the coin was produced for...I'll keep looking for any specifics on why it was minted, where it was used, etc.

If You go to the link that was in My post and read the information it explains the why and where, etc

Cheers. My blood just ran cold. My natural father was a Jew, hence I am genetically half Jewish (and my mother was not, so I was not raised within the religion, confused? How do you think I feel!), and being European I have connections with the genocide.

Fascinating coinage, and great research. Please don't think I am complaining about what you wrote, I just have these mixed emotions between what a fascinating coin, and what a terrifying, morbid, bloody history it has. Blood of my own people (Jews are a race first and  foremost).

Matt.
I do not take what You wrote as complaining.
Even as a person with no Jewish Blood running through My vains, it still touches Me
as I am friends with a Jewish family (Dutch).  Before their mother passed away about 5 years ago,
she used to speak about her life in the Netherlands and WWII.  Herself, her father, brother and then fiance
was in Camp Amersfoort.  She was the only one that survived the camp.

So I understand "mixed emotions" when items carry this kind of history.
Well, I don't have Jewish blood, but my Polish grandfather's brother was arrested for carrying a gun and sent to a camp, where he was executed by by gunshot soon after. My grandfather escaped to France, then Scotland...which is why I am here! I guess most Europeans have a story to tell.

I visited Oswiecim and then the German Auschwitz camp in 2009.

Yes, the token is an interesting piece of history nevertheless.
I have a few of each of these that were in my father-in-laws wallet from when he fought with the U.S. Army in Europe. One of the rectangular "10" ones looks more like a brass color. There are, also, a couple like the octagonal one with "20" instead of "30" on them. So, from the earlier posts, the "K. L." might mean concentration camp. Anybody know that the "F.H." part might mean ?

You might ask William Rosenblum, he is very wise in this area.
