Hi redsmithstudios
A sample slab is a slabbed coin given out by TGP at coin shows, to show any change they have made to the slabbes they sell. They are given out free, and give collectors an idea of a new style of slab coming out or something a small as a label change.
They have been around since coins where first slabbed.
That is a very short description, of a sample slab.
I an sending you my very first article on sample slabs, it will give you a better understanding.
Hope that helps
any questions just ask
