Hi all again (and thanks for being so helpful thus far since I am still going through this lot of foreign coins I got at a garage sale), this time I have a 1915 5 Centimos from Venezuela. Anywhere to find a value on this? The only guide I have right now is a world coin book from 2007 (which even if current I would assume inflates the value like the redbook)and it says this coin in XF condition would be around $50, but even half of that I am not sure to get without a buyer and have only seen one example on ebay. Any thoughts about value, where to find value, and where possibly to sell? Not that I will but in the future if the need arises. Thanks all!
The images aren't very sharp, but I would grade your coin as a regular VF.
Retention of original lustre (at least partially) or razor sharp details would make it an XF.
So at around VF the worth would be around $5-10 probably but then the fun part is finding someone willing to buy it at that price. Ebay prices are so varying it seems like you have to be lucky on who finds your listings for some of the foreign coins. Thanks!
