It is a medal I have seen in Spain before, I am sorry to say that this particular medal was inserted into a part of a bottle opener and similar other products like this, I saw a few of them fused onto tankards in a lot of the old rustic Spanish bars. I am not sure if it was to commemorate the marriage or anniversary of some kind, still it is a very nice looking piece.
