Hi all,
This is a 4 Reales coin I have in my (messy) collection that I couldn't find on the catalogue. Does anyone owning it have any more info they can give? Is it a real thing? The only 4 R coin from Carlos III in the numista catalogue is this:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces44670.html
Diameter: 34.5 mm
Weight: 13g (probably more in mint condition)
Many thanks!

Hello and welcome, Kissavos
Have you posted any photo of your coin? I cannot see it.

Oh man, too bad it has a hole, I would have swapped for it.

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Hi all,
Thanks for your replies. It's not actually the one posted by redsmithstudios, as it's minted in Potosi. The coin I have is this one:
http://www.coindatabase.com/coin_detail_pesetas.php?cdb=L190345
The question is, is it real, since I measure it to ~34.5 mm (give or take the 0.5mm) whereas it's cited as 32 mm. Not interested in a swap or sale since it has sentimental value btw :)
Also, should it be added to the numista catalogue since it's missing from the Spain coins list?
Cheers!

Do you have any other coins like this that you would swap?

Thanks for that tip, I did find it now! I'm afraid that's the oldest coin I have, if you're interested, I happen to have 3 of the following:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces18571.html
So I could part with 2. Will probably need some help with grading them though.
