1913 One Rupee George V set in brass holder with magnifying globe surround - what is it? [solved]

Hello all
Been trying to figure this one out for some time to no avail.  My grandparents had the 'ornament' (for want of a better word)  The coin itself is straightforward, but I'm trying to understand the setting.  I have searched long for any information regarding the brass and glass setting but cannot find anything on it.  Has anyone seen this before and could perhaps provide information as to what it is?

There looks to be a serial number in the brass at the top behind the glass

Thanks in advance for any information you may have

That looks fantastic, I would love one ! If you find out where they come from let me know I think I would like to buy one. I have the feeling it may have been s trinket made by a local craftsmen somewhere so there may not be many of these !
Search for this:

brass coin display holder with magnifier

or without the magnifier          (in google).

You get something close.
Thanks very much for your responses - I've tried many combinations of search keywords over time, and you're right, I get something similar, but not same.  I've got to believe there are more of these around.

Well - I had a breakthrough but now feel a little foolish....  apparently it's actually a desk clock holder.  Below is an example.

Thanks at least for your responses.

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.
