I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.

It's more than the explication marks. Its the subject line itself. No please, no can, etc. Of the 60 posts, it is all identify this and identify that. Wouldn't bother spending my time identifying his coins
Well it's largely academic for me because these types are far outside my area of expertise and way above my pay grade. I have noticed the lack of basic manners, not just this feller, and it really irks me. People share their expertise, often going to great lengths to research a coin and the OP can't even say "TY"? On almost every one of the 60 topics demanding the services of others he has been asked for the specifications and has ignored the request. How can you help someone who won't lift a finger to help himself?
I am always very appreciative of the help I'm given and try to make sure I convey that each time. If I ever fail to offer profuse thanks then it's simply an oversight and most definitely not a lack of appreciation.
The coin ID section is one of Numista's best features and I really don't care to see it being abused this way. It's not just the bad manners, there are far too many topics regarding easy to identify coins which even a complete beginner should be able to identify, come on folks at least TRY to ID the coin yourself before asking for help!
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
