German Token - Forum-Kaushaus-und

I found this in a box of old coins dating from 1921-2002 so I'm guessing the age is somewhere in between. Can anyone tell me anything about this token?

Please see images for the obverse and reverse of the token.

Searching google has brought up nothing so far. I've found one member of this site who also has the token, but knows as little as me about it.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I could be wrong but I know forum checks from the german democratic republic with them you could buy in intershops stuff from western countries so it could by a token from this currency system.
