Quote: neilithicYou need to tell me where this bargain bin is!! You're getting some brilliant finds
1914 looks UNC so would be $30 to $50
1915 if it is a proof is $250, otherwise it's UNC and would be $20
hahaha, I am traveling some many miles to find them.
these two coins cost me 40 miles one way from my house (so about $8.00 in gasoline, and $5.00 in purchase)
I have been going to pawn shops, and hole in the wall coin shops. Some times I find a random yard sale, some times a mom and pop jewelry store.
These two came from a tag sale store, they had a bin of "world coins" and "Silver coins" I picked these two out, and said will you take $5.00 for them, the guy said, yea sure.
I hope they are both proofs :), but I think I have a high % that the 1915 is a proof, it is so reflective in low light, it still reflected my camera without flash. (Look close and you will see a phone in the background of it)
the 1914, I don't know why it has those spots, I get giddy thinking proof, but then again, could just be gunk was on those spots, and it didn't age like the rest of the coin.
