Hi!
I'd like to know what's the meaning of the inscription "salop" on this conder :
http://www.abccoinsandtokens.com/DH.Shrops.022.002.html
Because in french, it's not really kind to say that, adding a final e to make "salope" (equivalent to b*****)
Thanks

Shrewsbury in Latin Salopesberia -> Salop
in German I only know "salopp" = carefree, casual or "etwas salopp sagen" = something just said out which is derifed from the older french term.
