Help needed with Louis XIV coin identification

2 posts
Greetings fellow collectors and enthusiasts!

I have been trying to identify this coin but due to its condition I'm having a rather difficult time.

From what I can identify its a Louis XIV coin from 1697. The other side of the coin is... as you can all see in much poorer condition. I think I can still see the letters "AI" on the top of the coin which leads me to think this might be a "LIARD DE FRANCE".

It appears at first glance that it could be the following coin or a similar design:

However the date on my coin is written the other way around and is clearly under the neck of the bust rather than next to it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
With date below portrait, maybe a Liard de France with number 9 mintmark (Rennes) like this one ...
