Identify some old coins

8 posts
My cousin has come upon some old coins and wants me to identify them.  I'm not having any luck so, maybe some of y'all could help. Scans of them are below:

Deer Coin:

Coin x-1:

Coin x-2:

Coin x-3:

Coin x-4:

Coin x-5:

Coin x-6:

The Deer Coin and x-1 appear to be copper or bronze.  I believe 2 through 5 are silver and x-6--  Who knows?

In the hope some of y'all can give me info on these coins, I thank you in advance and am

Most sincerely yours,
Danny

Yeah, I though Mideast, Afghanistan or India but so far I have found nothing in the Numista coin listings that matched them.  Thanks anyway,
Danny

None are Indian, that much I can tell you.

Rest you need to find a good catalog and look for them. Best of luck!

No. 2 seems to me Afghanistan KM 480.
The other silver ones look Afghan, too.

Did you search Numismaster for "Afghanistan"+"Rupee"?
Hi, I hope this would be helpful.
About coin x-2: I can't read anything but the date: 1277 AH (=1860 AD)

About coin x-3: This a coin from Afghanistan. it is the same as coin x-5. I put more info there due to its better condition.

About coin x-5: This coin is from Afghanistan. Lettering on first image says:
ضرب در سلطه کابل 1305
means: "Minted In Territory of Kabul 1305 AH". 1305 is mintage date (=1887 AD)
Lettering on second image says:
امیر عبد الرحمن 1305
means: "King Abdur Rahman 1305 AH". Abdur Rahman Khan was a king in Afghnistan. for more info about him see this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdur_Rahman_Khan
Thanks,
Danny
