Italian token Leonardo da Vinci

5 posts
I have a token - I can't find it anywhere. I want to know what it's worth and the details of it. Eg: what it's made of etc. It says "l'italia I suoi tesori e la sua antica storia". It has a picture of Leonardo da Vinci on the other side. It's gold colour.
  Welcome to the site.  :)
It is part of a series - here is one (with same lettering on one side) for Pisa ...

I may be able to find out more tonight, unless someone else knows.

Unfortunately, all the searches I've done seem to come back to here!

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.
Perhaps they are made by the company 'International Mint de Turin' as some of the tokens mentioned above are linked to that name, according to some search results.
Their site is http://www.internationalmint.it/ but not sure how old the tokens are, so may no longer be on there, and I do not speak Italian to know what to Search for on there.

The three tokens so far ...
Leonardo da Vinci
David di Michelangelo
Torre pendente Pisa

Also, from SOCIETE INTERNATIONAL MINT de TURIN there are a few series ...
ITALIA E LE SUE PERLE
ITALIA I SUOI TESORI E LA SUA ANTICA STORIA
ITALIA E I SUOI VALORI

There is this list (in PDF format) of what is made ...
http://www.qfbv.fr/listes/IM.pdf

I now found a list, in French, of some others 'L'Italia, I suoi tesori e la sua antica storia Italie' ...
