What do you mean when you say this?

Not in Krause?
Not in Numista?
Not in a catalogue that you have?

Roy
maybe Nawanagar?
Hi Roy,

Nawanagar and Porbandar hammered coins are often confusing. The only distinguishing factor between them is the nagari legend,

Nawanagar - Sri Jama (श्री जाम)
Porbandar - Sri Rana (श्री राणा)

Your coin has the legend which can be read below as "Sri Rana"

And the denomination is driven by the weight of the coin. So it should be a Porbandar Dhingla C#33

Thanks Sujit

I got the coin from Shamik Biswas who has contributed to the Krause "South Asian coins and paper Money" catalogue and he had identified it as coming from Porbandar. I am pleased because it is the first coin that I have from that particular Indian State.

Thanks also for outlining the legend. It showed very clearly the difference between the two states. Good detective work!!!!
