Extra Coins

I have a lot of coins that are either very recent or worth little more than face value. I was wondering, what do you guys do with these coins? I feel like I need some place to put them or to trade them or something.

I usually give them away to my swap partners as a gift...
Plus, I have a large bowl of like 8 liters, where I put them, and sometimes I stir them ... kind of a decoration item on my desk

Stirring a bowl of coins actually sounds kinda fun. My collection isn't that large yet, and so I just have a bag full of ordinary coins stuffed in a drawer.

I see you have no coins to exchange. Why not list these coins on your swap list? It may be an ordinary coin for you, but if someone needs it has value for them.

I stick mine in a plastic tackle box that has compartments so I can divide them up into countries/areas.  Something like this:



When I've built up enough I stick them in online auctions for $1 reserve so someone else can pick up the country they collect nice and cheaply

Thanks for the ideas! I think I'm going to separate them in that sort of box, too. Eventually I'll probably find someone who's willing to trade or buy.
