I got an antique sterling silver silver (possibly) baby rattle at the thrift shop today, a 1952 S wheat cent on the floor of a grocery store near a coin exchange thing (the ignorance of the non-collectors), and a 1980 US cent at a coin exchange thing (it should have been exchanged, it was on the grate.)!!!

I dream of having one of those change counters, so I could get a lot of coins every day and have fun digging on them  :O

On the other hand I work as an accountant assistant, so I handle some pocket change every day, and take the chance to look through it and get anything I find worth it, and replace it with my previously carried change for those occasions.
Numista referee for the "Viceroyalty of the New Spain" (most of it).

The rattle has (probably) over 30 dollars in silver.
I only got it for 3.00 (1 cent extra donated to the disabled, the sticker said 2.99).
