Pinnacle Mint sports coins

9 posts
Here's one for discussion:  In 1997 or so, Pinnacle Sports Cards produced a line called "Pinnacle Mint".  It had die-cut sports cards, and matching coins featuring sports stars from baseball, US football, etc.  The coins were produced in brass, nickel, and I'm assuming silver and some gold...or, at least, gold-plated.

My question for discussion is this:  Does anyone collect these, and, if so, does anyone swap them?

For me the answer is No and No.
No and No from me...
I've got a few of the hockey ones and I think a racing one.  I used to collect sports cards but not any more.  I was thinking about adding what I had a tokens.  I don't know.  Probably wouldn't swap them, but I don't really collect them either.

Just checked to see what I have:
I've got 8 Hockey and one Football.  All of them are brass.

I have a couple...I was actually thinking of them as tokens myself.  They certainly aren't worth much as anything else.
