This news isn't exactly new, but I came across this and just look at that! This coin was minted just 6 years after the first powered human flight (1903 - Wright brothers), and now here it is on Mars, the furthest planet humans have explored in such detail so far. They're using it for camera calibration.

Must make for a lot of history.
Now we need to find a way to clean Martian dust of coins, whatever next
If that coin ever comes back to earth the value is going to skyrocket!!
