Hi,

Just wanted to know whether anybody has 100% of coin types covered for a specific country captured in Numista.

I have most type of coins from Switzerland (1850 - Date).

Switzerland Coin Types : 158 [1798 - 1803 => 11 Types, 1850 - date => 147 Types] as of 30-07-2013

Coin Types Collected : 108

% Covered (1850 - date) : 73.47%

Please also share how you were able to collect more types.

For me it's Fijian Pre-decimal coins.  I have every KM number and I'm just a handful of coins away from having every date of every KM number.

I'm trying to do the same with Cayman Island coins, but I'm a long, long way from my goal.
I'm focusing on circulating issues exclusively though as there are quite a few commemorative that can get pretty expensive and just don't have the same kind of history.

Yeah it's the same with decimal Fijian, that's what I'm also working on, quite a bit to go with that though.  The stupid thing is that I have all the tricky to get pre-decimal coins.  I've got the low mintage silver, the low mintage pennies and halfpennies.  It's a few of the more common 3d, pennies and one cu-ni florin that's standing in my way.  They just haven't been for sale.
The most coins I have is in the UK, however I highly doubt that its my highest % probably more like Canada SA or India I would say. :)
Mine are below

India 116 different types by KM No
USA 103 different types by KM No
Canada 102 different types by KM No

I have all Latvian besides the very last 1 Lats that is on its way. Also, I have all 3 non circulating Coins of Time.

Also, I have all Israel circulation coins. With an asterisk though: I don't have some pearl/no pearl varieties, but have some non circulating coins.

I troll the online auctions and pick up bulk lots.  I usually get a few coins from each lot and then sell off the rest.  I usually get my money back or make a profit from the coins I don't need.

Thanks Neilithic.  I will also try this.

I have 120 from Canada.  No where near completing a full set for Canada though.
