Paper contact

Hi,
I am considering adding a small paper ticket bearing some info. into the coin pockets in the album.
Is there any risk of damaging or altering the coin surface (especially UNC coins)?
Thanks - Uri

You need to use acid-free paper otherwise yes it could/would over time cause toning to the coins. Some people use double flips to store their coins; one compartment for the coin and the next for the piece of paper or card that stores info about it.

Thank you,
How can I know if the paper used for the standard copy machine is acid free or not?
Are this kind of papers sold for any special purpose?
I would think common copy paper is not acid free.  Doesn't it typically say something along the lines of "archival" or something for acid free?

Or.. How about the ingenious idea radrick 007 came up with and make a page on the computer in 2"x2" (or what ever size holders you have) and have the info in the corresponding boxes so when you're looking at coins on your right.. The info is on your left ? It's a great idea I haven't got round to implementing myself yet. Mainly due to not having any proper means of organisation yet but its going to happen !
I use the 2x2 plastic flips for mine.  They have 2 pockets, one for the coin and one for the information card.
