I counted up my coins last night and I had 950, but according to my profile on here I have 937. That means I've got 13 that I've forgotten to list.  Now I'm going to have to go through my collection and find the ones I haven't entered. Problem is I no longer have a computer at home, so I'm either going to have to lug all my collection round to my parent's place, or write lists of coins and take them to work.  ;(

Anyone else have issues with this in the past, or are you all sensible and have your collections written down in other places?
Same here, I have only one place that I have listed of all my coins and that is Numista. I do take backup of my collection in Excel format.  0:)

If I were in your situation, I would have got a print-out of my collection Excel. Then would have taken the print-out home and compare it with my actual coins. I would have started from the countries I have least amount of coins and move upward.

Not a problem.  Glad I could help.

Members who are not sure how to get their collection on an Excel list, it can be done by going on the left here to 'Your account' then 'Dashboard' ...

the link is here
 en.numista.com/vous/exporter.php?t=0&l=en

... where I clicked on Export your collection to Excel (English version) which brings a pop-up window asking to save as .xls file.  :)
You can also choose to save in French; or rather than save your collection in either language you can do the same for your swap list as well.

Also that Dashboard page as you can see shows a coloured world map of the coins you have so far entered; also where you can view your Profile, to see exchange Feedback and so on.
Finally, you can see a written list of each country with the quantity for each. Go on there to
'View the country list with your collection quantities.' link, which shows ...

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins
Half of my coins aren't listed lol
Only half, I only have about 1/3 of mine. I have a lot of silver yet. A lot at the bank.
It is, what it is, or is it.
I may exaggerate by half but I know I have a lot of cataloguing to go !

When are you going to open up your collection so I can have a peek?

By the way.  I went through my list last night and found a whole lot more coins that weren't listed...and a whole lot that I had listed but didn't own anymore.  I'll spend today fixing it up...I might even get some work done in between, but don't tell the boss.
Hahaha !

Neil if there's anything I need you know the score, I will get round to cataloging eventually XD
