This morning while out yard saling I found some coins at a sale. a 1949 wheat penny, 1906 Mexico five centavos, 1920 Mexico un peso, and a 1886 Peru un sol. So I pick up the last three and was looking at them and the lady running the yard sale was standing off to the side, and I was about to ask if she would take five bucks for them and right before I could ask she said do you want them all for TWENTY FIVE CENTS!! And I said yes, got home, looked them up and they were worth close to 35 dollars. So it just goes to show that there are still good deals out there you just have to look.
Unfortunately coin collecting here isn't that popular so shops are fairly limited, and you rarely see any at car boot sales or anything, so all of my buys have been confined to eBay - well done !
This is a great discovery, a big congratulations for you! However, there are a few units of American currency which some find troublesome, such as the uber-expensive and annoying penny. The Government Accountability Office has some reservations about the one dollar bill and has suggested that it would be cheaper, in the long run, to switch to dollar coins instead.
They should do away with the dollar note.. It's like us printing a 50p note. They don't have to be the size of silver ones after all they are just tokens anyway !
