Hey everyone,
After editing and working on many photos on Numista, I've decided to give a little recommendation when scanning images. First of all, thank you for all your contributions to the site. Your images are very important to the website and to the members.
Secondly, I'd like to recommend that when scanning images, the light faces from the top downward. The shadow of the coin should be on the bottom, and the shadow of the hole, if existing, should be at the top. After looking through many images, the results of images that have light from the top downward are much better than images from the bottom upward.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you take my advice when scanning images of your coins.
