Stamps UK and US have a ?

On these UK stamps they are together - why on earth would they print two different colours and two different values on the same sheet ?


What is up with the holes this on O S I think

Yeah you get them quite often on Australian George V stamps they're a reasonably popular sub-category to collect, like officials, postage dues, government insurance stamps etc.
