I have this coin i cannot identify. Can anyone please help me identify it.

It looks like an some small asian coin. It weighs 2 grams and about 17mm. It has a center hole and what looks like a snake on the obverse. Any help to identify appreciated !

Thanks;

POSITRON

Welcome to Numista. Thailand, 1 Satang.  Dated 1924 but possibly actually minted in 1923.

I have to kindly disagree, Harry.

On the left, “5” (satang); on the right B.E. (Buddhist Era) 2462, AD 1919 (Gregorian calendar), short tail ๖ (Birmingham Mint).

Yes, you are correct. 5 Satang and not 1 Satang. I missed that and also misread the script..
