I have the year 1991 ("DUARTE" on bust's neck) that information is not present on this coin.

Is it a new type? Or is that information misplaced?

Might not mean much, but http://worldcoingallery.com/countries/Dominican_all.php has the 1991-1992 as KM80.1 (with Duarte on bust) and 1992-on as KM80.2 (with Duarte below bust).

Giving this the old bumpity bump. Just got one of these myself. Very obviously does not have "Duarte" anywhere on the obverse.

I think is a worn coin with the word Duarte faded.

Hello. I have this same peso. No marking on the neck or below the neck. The date is messed up it looks like (991...and its round! The opposite side is perfect with deep markings.
