I have the year 1991
("DUARTE" on bust's neck) that information is not present on this coin.
Is it a new type? Or is that information misplaced?

Just to clarify, your coin does or doesn't have DUARTE on the neck?

Might not mean much, but
http://worldcoingallery.com/countries/Dominican_all.php has the 1991-1992 as KM80.1 (with Duarte
on bust) and 1992-on as KM80.2 (with Duarte
below bust).
The plot thickens...

Should the catalog be updated with this information?

Giving this the old bumpity bump. Just got one of these myself. Very obviously does not have "Duarte" anywhere on the obverse.

Don't be shy, glorkar and el182592. Upload photos. Better, a zoom on the neck.

Photo's not the best, but here it is:
Here is an example of an UNC one I found online:
I suppose that it's possible that it is simply worn excessively in that area.

I think is a worn coin with the word Duarte faded.

Hello. I have this same peso. No marking on the neck or below the neck. The date is messed up it looks like (991...and its round! The opposite side is perfect with deep markings.
Used time zone is UTC+2:00. Current time is 06:37.
