I have a THAILAND (ND) 1869 ? (SALU'NG) 1/4 BAHT COPPER PATTERN COIN or WRONG METAL KRAUSE#: Y29 This coin should be silver
My 2009 KRAUSE BOOK references three (ND) COPPER 1/4 BAHT PATTERN coins:
(ND) 1860: PN6 references KRAUSE #: Y9 (ND) 1860: PN8 references a different reverse : ("3 Crowns and with out stars") (ND) 1868 PN23 does not reference #Y29
Weight: 3.82 g
Diameter: measured 19.9mm
Struck in Copper
This design appears to be the Y#29 coin that is normally stuck in silver
I found pattern #s PN6,PN8 and PN23 that were the only ones that referred to a 1/4 Baht (Salung) , which were struck in copper.
