Good day any ideas on the date of this coin which I'm assuming is a Roman coin I believe of the emperor Trajan

The bust is definitely Nero.

You can read a bit of the legend on the obverse

CAESAR AVG GERM

Searching in the OCRE database, I didn't find any cataloged Denarius, only bronze coins.
