Isle of Mann one crown coin

4 posts • viewed 93 times

I have a 1990 Isle of Man one crown "alley cat" coin.   39 mm diameter, 28.5 g weight. I measured the density, and it is 9.0 g/mm^3. Can not identify metal, thought it was silver but could not be at that density?

Would appreciate knowing what the metal is and is the coin worth anything.

Thank you.

Copper Nickel

Uncirculated you might get 5 to 10 pounds for it.
