Counterfeit?

Hello,

I recently purchased one of these coins online and am quite skeptical that it is a counterfeit. While the size and weight are spot on, it makes no ping sound whatsoever and sounds like a nickel when I drop it on the table, making a ring-less thud sound. Also, the edges are flat unlike the reeded version on this page. Are my suspicions accurate that this likely a fake? Thank you! I am trying to get some verification before I return it.

Try a magnet, if it is Ni it will be atracted. You can do an XRF-test too.
The pictures are not that clear.
Wait for someone else to shine his light here.

...you can run,  but you can't hide...

Nope, doesnt stick to a magnet.

Image on coin page clearly shows that it got reeded edge. Your photo is not reeded.

You can find specs at https://www.jmbullion.com/2017-1-10-oz-somalian-silver-elephant/

Coin should be reeded. Yours is fake.

They also could not get gap between foot and Ag right. Fence around the hut does not have vertical bars. But we are comparing CGI/design rendering with relatively low res photo.

Thank you for verifying, I figured this was the case. Sorry for such low res pictures, with how shiny it is, it was hard to get good pic.

Here are some additional pictures that are a bit clearer. I still agree that it’s fake. Just has too many red flags for my liking.
