Using NGC and PCGS photos for Numista Pages [solved]

3 posts • viewed 44 times

Hi all,

I have several slabbed coins that are in better condition than the examples used in the corresponding Numista pages.

I was thinking of taking photos of them and updating the pages, but since I do not have a very good setup, I was wondering if I could just crop the photos from the NGC and PCGS registries.

I have seen in the relevant forum discussion that we have permission to use images from NGC and PCGS. So, do I just use those images and set NGC or PCGS as a source?

Can I also do this for coins I do not own? For example, if I find a good specimen on ebay and verify its registration number, can I use its registry photos for the Numista catalog?

Thank you for your time.

They are both on the approved list
