I'm trying to identify an ancient coin [solved]

Hello everyone,

I received a coin two years ago from a close friend who sadly passed away. I’ve always been curious about its origin and history, and I would really appreciate your help identifying it.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any background information about the coin just what I can observe. I’ve attached photos showing both sides. The coin measures approximately 19mm in width, 17mm in height, and 2mm in thickness. Weight: 3.80g. If anyone recognizes the type, period, or region it might come from, I’d be very grateful.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

Hi.

For sure this is a Raja Chola coin.

But which one ?

Thank you for the quick response! Unfortunately, I can't identify the exact coin because the reverse side is unclear, but you're absolutely right - it's definitely a Raja Chola coin.
